Why I Launched Lella Education Consulting

While I didn’t initially set out to become a teacher, education quickly became my passion. Looking back, I can't see myself doing anything else! Over the last 20+ years, I've worn many hats—teacher, administrator, professor, coach—and each role has given me a unique view of the education world. I've seen just how powerful and life-changing dedicated educators can be for their students and communities.

But, I've also seen the harsh realities of the profession: the daily struggles educators face, the pervasive burnout from relentless demands, and the overwhelming pressure placed on teachers, administrators, and parents alike. Sadly, these challenges often overshadow the joys of teaching, highlighted by the number of teachers leaving the field in recent years.

With these experiences and my own as a mom, I launched Lella Education Consulting because I believe those who dedicate their lives to education deserve real support and solutions. My mission is to empower educators and stakeholders at all levels.  Whether it’s helping a new teacher build confidence in the classroom through tailored strategies and mentoring, coaching an administrator through the complexities of tough leadership decisions, or guiding parents through the often-confusing world of school expectations and educational policies, my goal remains simple yet profound: to make education more manageable, effective, and rewarding for everyone involved in the process.

Lella Education Consulting isn't just about ticking boxes with training sessions and generic advice. In fact, you'll often hear me say we should never do anything just for the sake of checking a box! It's about providing real, hands-on support that meets the unique needs of each individual or institution. This includes professional development for school districts, personalized one-on-one coaching for administrators, or specialized literacy tutoring for students who may be struggling to keep up. Education isn't one-size-fits-all, and neither is the support we need to succeed within it. Every educator, administrator, and student brings their own experiences, challenges, and strengths, and the support should reflect that diversity.

So, if you're a teacher, administrator, or parent looking for guidance, encouragement, or just someone who truly gets what you're going through, you're in the right place. Together, we can navigate the complexities of the education system and work towards meaningful solutions. By fostering collaboration and sharing insights, we can create an environment where everyone thrives, ensuring the love for learning continues to flourish in our classrooms and beyond. Let's make education better—together.
